Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Pay: CA$18.00 – CA$24.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping activities
• Support excavation projects using equipment such as excavators under supervision
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Perform general gardening duties including planting, pruning, and soil preparation
• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Support construction-related tasks such as site preparation, grading, and material movement
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times

Skills:

• Experience or familiarity with gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance techniques
• Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape construction and maintenance
