We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Night Security Guard to monitor and protect our premises during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets through proactive surveillance and security measures. This role offers an essential service in maintaining a secure environment for our organization and its visitors.
Pay:Â From CA$18.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address security concerns
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Enforce loss prevention protocols by identifying potential theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches, following established procedures
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations during shifts
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor or employee entry and exit
- Report any safety hazards or security issues to management immediately
- Follow all company policies and legal requirements related to security operations
Skills:
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
- Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond swiftly when needed
