Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for efficient warehouse distribution, order picking, and inventory management. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that values safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Pay: CA$18.25 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload shipments with precision and care, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Pick, pack, and organize orders accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Assist with inventory control by counting and recording stock levels accurately
• Perform general labour/ heavy lifting duties as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts.
• Warehouse distribution experience preferred
• Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory tracking
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
