Responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public spaces according to established cleanliness and presentation standards, ensuring a comfortable and satisfactory experience for guests.

Pay Rate: $15.64/hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organizes and stocks the housekeeping cart with required cleaning supplies and keeps carts and storage areas clean, orderly, and well-maintained to support efficient room cleaning.
• Cleans windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, using step stools or ladders when needed to reach higher or difficult areas.
• Manually washes hard flooring surfaces such as tile and linoleum to remove dirt, stains, and buildup.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, fixtures, and wall décor, including vents and ceiling corners, ensuring all surfaces are free of dust and cobwebs.
• Inspects and cleans closets, wiping doors, handles, and shelves, and restocking guest room items such as hangers, pillows, and extra blankets.
• Vacuums guest rooms, hallways, and common areas using equipment weighing up to 25 lbs, and moves furniture as needed to clean carpets thoroughly, including hard-to-reach spaces.
• Checks door and window locks to ensure they are secure and functioning properly, reporting any safety concerns or issues immediately to management.
• Maintains a positive, friendly, and professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
• Supports laundry operations by collecting used linens, sorting items by type and size, operating washers, dryers, and pressing equipment, and delivering clean linens to storage areas or carts.
• Cleans balcony and patio areas by sweeping or hosing floors, wiping furniture and fixtures, removing trash, and cleaning doors and windows.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent secondary education.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or similar cleaning standards preferred.
