We are actively searching for residential waste and recycling collectors to join our team in Markham. This position is a seasonal week by week position.

Our client is a top leader in the waste industry and we are looking to fill loading positions

Details:

• Hours are between Tuesday to Friday (must work all day until shift complete 10- 12 hour shifts)
• 6:30 a.m. start time
• $20.00 per hour
• Overtime. paid after 44 working hours
• Universal employee’s paid weekly
• Saturdays on a statutory holiday week

Requirements:

• Clear Criminal Background Search 
• Own reliable transportation
• PPE
• Safety boots above ankle
• Willing to work in various outdoor weather conditions (year round)
• Comfortable to perform physical work and repetitive/heavy lifting

Responsibilities:

• Residential curbside pick-up yard waste, garbage and residential recycling
• Pick-up various materials and empty bins or bags onto trucks
