We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Waste Equipment Cleaning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining waste containers, fleet vehicles, and related equipment using professional pressure washing systems. This role plays an important part in maintaining sanitation standards, improving equipment longevity, and ensuring a clean, professional appearance of waste management assets.
Location: Putman, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (as applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pressure washing and sanitation of dumpsters, waste bins, compactors, and recycling containers
- Conduct fleet washing for garbage trucks and other service vehicles
- Operate and maintain high-pressure washing equipment and cleaning systems
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents and degreasers to remove debris, grease, and odors
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company standards
- Inspect equipment for damage or maintenance needs and report issues to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pressure washing, industrial cleaning, or fleet washing is considered an asset
- Ability to operate power washing equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing manual labor
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety procedures

- Regular use of pressure washing equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
