We are hiring an experienced Operations Coordinator to support daily logistics and trucking operations. This role is responsible for driver coordination, scheduling, E-log compliance (Geotab), dispatching, and tracking truck activity.
The ideal candidate has experience in logistics, transportation, trucking, or shop operations and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Full-Time | On-Site
A reliable car is required (location is not accessible by public transit)
Salary & Benefits:
- $55,000 – $60,000 per year (based on experience)
- Benefits available after successful completion of probation

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage E-logs (Geotab) to ensure driver compliance and efficiency
- Coordinate driver schedules and dispatch trucks based on operational needs
- Communicate with drivers, shop staff, and management throughout the day
- Track and record truck activity, equipment usage, and daily operations
- Maintain and organize shop paperwork and maintenance schedules
- Respond to emails and support daily operations coordination
- Troubleshoot issues in real time and keep operations running smoothly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow efficiency
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, trucking, or operations coordination
- Familiarity with E-log systems (Geotab preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the trucking industry or dispatching: 1 to 2 years of experience
- Background in a shop environment or heavy equipment operations
- Knowledge of recycling yard operations
- Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency
