What You Will Be Doing:

·         We are hiring Recycling Sorters in London (corner Wellington and Manning). In this this is a full-time position which runs 7am – 3 30pm Monday – Friday and overtime if needed. (not on bus route)

·         Other employers refer to this job as: entry level, willing to train, factory worker

·         Sorters/Labourers work as quality control line workers you will hand-sorting recyclable materials and trash from the recycling line stream.

 

Job description

·         Job Location London on (Manning Dr. not on bus route)

·         Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

·         Salary: $16.55 per hour

·         Position Recycle Sorter

·         Job Availability Full Time 7aam to 3 30pm Mon to Fri

·         Time Availability Days

·         We offer a starting rate of $16.55/hour, 4% paid vacation, and comprehensive benefits packages after probation

Requirements

·         Must be able to lift and carry items weighing at least 25/30 pounds

·         Must be able to stand for extended period of time

·         Must be able to will work in a fast-paced environment

·         Must wear protective equipment CSA steel toe boots and vest

·         Must provide own CSA approved steel-toe boots. (not safety shoes)

·         You must be a team player

·         Have proven safe working habits

·         Must be punctual with an excellent attendance record

Responsibilities

·         Sorting recycled material onto various conveyor belts

·         Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area

·         Work in an environment with loud noise, dirt, dust, grease, gases, and strong odours

·         Other manual labour duties, as required
